Some sad news to share. Longtime Danville radio personality Blake Dalton, who was heard on WAKG 103.3 before recently moving to Lakes Media's WMPW/W279AO "Country Legends 103.7", passed away suddenly Monday of cardiac arrest following a seizure. Dalton, a friend of country superstar George Jones, had surgery for a benign brain tumor at Duke year or two ago. He was 24. He was also heard on Lakes Media's Oxford station, WLUS "US 98.3". My prayers are with his family and friends.
