They finally played it at 9:36 pm - seems like a different track than the one WRXP played-- of course the song title is very appropriate for Jimmy--- "Cause I Sez So"
I didn't hear it because at 9:36 pm, it was 6:36 pm and I was on my way home (yeh that's Orange County time - OC CA that is not OC NY)
the new Dolls CD is very radio friendly(Todd Rundgren produced) and there's a number of possible attractions on there; "Cos I Sez So" is a good first choice
the only time that Dolls frontman David Johansen's voice was heard by the masses was when RCA signed him in his alter ego, "Buster Poindexter"; he was all over MTV at the time (with Downtown Julie Brown) and his remake of "Hot Hot Hot" was a Top 40 hit and remains a constant party item from DJs...
and that voice hasn't changed at all
