Lamar Lynn?

I posted this on the Georgia board a few days back, but got no replies. Thought I'd try here with this board's wider audience:

Lamar Lynn is my mentor in radio and a dear friend. He was quite popular in the Savannah, Georgia, market for many years in the period from 1960 to 1981. Not only did he help me get my start in radio, he introduced me to the woman who became my ex-wife. (Love you anyway, Hugh!)

My last contact with Lamar was in 1986 or so. I had heard he was doing some air work in the Macon, Georgia, area; but I was unable to confirm this, or to track him down. Lamar has family ties in Florida -- the Jacksonville area, I believe -- as well as in Georgia. I would love to have coffee with the man and have him dissect my every word for clarity and diction once again.

If anyone has heard from Lamar lately, tell him his one-time protégé George would like to hook up with him to see how he is and where he is and all the rest. Point him in my direction and I will be forever in your debt.

Ample contact info is posted in my profile. If you e-mail me, just put "Florida Radio" somewhere in the subject line, so that I won't mistake you for one of those generous Nigerians! ;) Thanks!
