Lamenting the Old Days......

Lamenting the old days when you could get near all the MLB games on AM due to the fact that most teams were broadcast by a 50k Class 1A or B station.
The Twins on WCCO 830, Tigers on 760 WJR with Ernie Harwell, Pirates on KDKA, Braves on 750 WSB, Texas rangers on 820 WBAP....
Some teams are still on stations like that. Most Notably the Reds on WLW, the Yankees on WABC, Mets on WFAN, Giants on KNBR, One could sit at night and hear all sorts of games before XM came along. Was really great to be able to hear Ernie's cliche call, "And it's lonnnnngggg gone" or John Gordon's "Touch 'em all Kirby Puckett!" or Milo Hamilton's call of Henry Aaron's 715th HR in Atlanta. (Wasn't till years later I'd get to hear the Legendary Vin Scully's words said that night) Yes, those were the days.
