I've only been to SF once, so needless to say, I don't follow SF radio. With that said, I'm listening to Opie And Anthony bash Lamont and Tonelli from 107.7 THE BONE. Are they really the hacks that O&A describe 'em to be?

One question though, is Sully still on with them? He was a hoot and pretty much "discovered" by L&T.

Cumulus doesn't do many flavors of rock radio. KFOG is way outside of their wheelhouse. They dabbled with AAA in a few large markets and got killed doing so. They also don't have a particularly good track record with rock radio. Just look at the now defunct Bone in Dallas and the perennially ratings-starved Rock 100.5 in Atlanta.
KSAN needs to begin playing more 90's & 2K's rock and ease up on the crusty 70's titles. I think a station similar to KRXQ or Seattle's KISW would do fairly well in the Bay Area. The gulf between Live 105 and KSAN is too wide. There is a lot of guitar-driven rock music from the last 20 years that is being completely ignored on the local airwaves.

That's bad because L&T are an expensive show and you know how Cumulus feels about underachieving highly paid teams. Then again, Cumulus doesn't think KSAN needs a Program Director so who would actually work with L&T? There hasn't been an in-house PD at KSAN for years (Larry Sharpe was the last one) and no one from Atlanta bothers to pay attention.
