LAN remote DSPXtra malfunction...

Hi Guys,

I can't 'talk' to my DSPXtra anymore over LAN. It doesn't even react on pinging. It DID work perfectly, but I guess it died on me...
Remote does still work through the serial option. I tried different PC's, different OS, different cables, different switches, even build a small network with just 1 PC, a switch and the DSPX but that didn't help. I have mailed BW (Hi Goran) and Paul suggested (among other things) to reload the firmware so I did, but still no effect. Before I sent the box to BW... Does anybody have a suggestion, however stupid? :-\

Hi Richard,

Had the same with the Xtreme, DOA. I had to sent it back. So I think you're going down the same road, fortunately BW's support is great. Give them a call or e-mail.

I'm afraid I no longer work for BW Broadcast, so I would suggest contacting them directly http://www.bwbroadcast.com/contact to resolve this.

It does look like you've checked everything, but there may be other factors involved so the best thing would be to contact the support.

Regards,
Goran Tomas
