Hi everyone,
I worked at WJRZ from October 31, 1976 to the summer of 2001. Began running tapes on Sunday mornings and engineering the “Gospel Messenger” with sister, Alberta Jones and Bishop Otto (I wasn’t allowed to speak except to do the weather forecast once per hour! Lol)
I then worked the overnights and eventually worked my way up the ranks to host evenings and afternoon drive. I eventually became the program Director and oversaw all operations of WJRZ and our subsidiaries in the Virgin Islands.
If you have any questions about those days, please feel free to ask. I’d be happy to help you out. You can also find me on my Facebook page which has multiple albums and pictures of those early days. I’m also on LinkedIn or my own personal site at lancedebock.com.
Look forward to hearing from you!
