Landecker on WIFE!

I haven’t heard this show anywhere else before [?]... THE MUSIC IS AWESOME, and so is John L. [of WLS fame] I was home after my father’s surgery and have been listening to it on Connersville’s 1580 WIFE since about 6:00AM today – IT ROCKS! ...Great excuse to tune-in radio early on a Saturday morning! I drove to the Village Pantry at 7:00AM and they had even nudged their radio over to the AM band to listen. WHY doesn’t 101.9 run this show – maybe on Sunday mornings, F.G.S. John Landecker is an established brand, and the 70s are better than the over-played 250-song-playlist 60s.

Landecker on KLU? How many personalities with the nickname "records" can one station have? Isn't there an FCC reg for that? ;)

John's Mom actually gave him the middle name of Records... It was her supposed maiden name! :p

....I am not surprised by that.. John can give you a funny ''skimmys" like that... Uh??? "Skipper T. Thomas", yes "Tea" is my middle name! Or, is that "Theodis"???? ;D

I heard the WLS aircheck (it's somewhere on Reelradio) where JRL has hios parents on to verify that his Mother's Maiden Name was Marjorie Records.

I heard him on WASK last Sunday. Wish he was on around here.

I heard his show on WLS FM one Saturday night. Loved the "It sucked then, it still sucks now" song. (The song he

Great bit! What was the song?

It has been several months ago. But that could be a new thread!

Mary McGregor - torn Between Two Lovers
Charlene - Never Been To Me

The list goes WAAAYYY to long ;D

Hey, Hoosierky, JRL chooses W-A-A-A-Y better songs than those on his current syndicated show... THANK GOODNESS :)

I believe the song that sucked then and still sucks now was, "You Light Up My Life" by Debbie Boone....I believe JRL played the song and made the comment again on the Big 89 Rewind show last year.
