I think she meant a Jim Norton type soley in the sense of a comic voice. You're right it would not work with someone like Norton miking necrophilia jokes to the Mix soccer moms. They would need someone who was appropriate for the Mix audience and their level of hipness...........

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder what Larry Storch, or Elaine Boozler are up to these days..........

If you are a P1, what makes it your favorite station and/or AM Show?? And, if you are a P1, why would you want such a dramatic change?
 
Not a P1 of the morning show, but square in the chops of their target. I even have the 2.3 kids (God bless little stumpy). :p Dramatic change? No. Entertaining morning show would be a nice change however.
 
The show just sounds sooooo over-produced and tape delayed. Matty just rolls with the punches and even manages to put in a 4 hour day !!! Lander takes off at 9.
Do you really think Lander makes 7 figures?

Well you may be in the demo but that does not make you a p1 Lucy. You're obviously not since you listen to so many male targeted shows and station's. While I do think most women are much less fragile and more inclined to listen to this and that as you do as opposed to the thinking of those programming for that demo. They have an idea of women the way they were in say the 1960's, fragile more June Cleaver types. Most women today are a lot hipper than mix's programming gives them credit for being. In short they're not sitting by the radio with a parisol waiting to hear John Mayer. They drink, they curse, my god they even have SEX OUT OF WEDLOCK!. :eek:

They have so much potential, so much, SO MUCH! yet the staton really tries to handle them with such kid gloves, they almost talk to them like children, trying ever so hard not to offend!. I dont really think they understand their own audience to be honest. Still though Norton making SIDS jokes isn't the answer.
