LaPierre - fare thee well

eavesdropping on the webcasts this morning, Gary LaPierre truly is a class act, especially in a biz where we can be creatures of habit as to how we like our studios and equipment and such - and after 40+ years, you'd think he could have done his final thing in the manner to which he's become accustomed. the 3-ring circus that was his final morning, though, actually was somewhat fitting for an industry which truly prides itself on being able to adapt, overcome and move on from the moment.

Gary - your kind is indeed a rare and vanishing breed. who knows, maybe Mitt will take you up on that job-thing if the situation progresses favorably for him next year.

best wishes to Gary in whever life takes him.

[LaPierre thread[/url]

with all due respect, Smoke - this new thread was started as the other one has simply turned into yet another fine example of Boston's radio-info dot com sux thread.

Gary has earned his props - and that's what was hoped for here.
