Thanks for the info! How about KTWL, is that one going to be La Power too?

So KKBQ HD 3 is a translator for K287BQ?? 😂

K287BQ Is approximately 1 1/2 minutes ahead of KKBQ HD3

KKBQ-HD3 is the originating station for the translator on 105.3 FM.
Other translators with HD signals do this, with the translator audio first.

KTWL has had really messy audio today. I think it’s still Texas mix but I’m not too sure. Sounds awful

Could they still add KTHT Country Legends 97.1 on HD-4?

The Texas country format from KKBQ-HD3 moved to KKBQ-HD2... audio quality is atrocious, as if they're running at 8kbps.

Aren't they running using the same exact illegal facilities that were set up under Centro? And this objection makes reference to the FCC complaints that were made in an effort to shut down K287BQ *while it was under Centro's ownership*!

Anyone can go on the roof top and take pictures of antennas, especially when they own the antenna. A picture doesn't prove what stick a signal is radiating from. When Centro had K287BQ, they used the ERI sticks for all of their broadcasts, but those antennas weren't included when 105.3 and 92.3 transferred. Most likely the ERI is what's being used to.multicast 94.1, 99.5, and 104.5 (Yes, I said 99.5. Centro has two translators on that channel, one north and one south, but it's a lot cheaper to put a signal in the middle and blanket two coverage areas with one signal). As of December K287BQ was broadcasting with a yagi.

KTWL is back to regular audio. Still Texas mix
Say what you want about Roy Henderson, but Texas Mix is a very good station. From it's days as "Lonestar", the station has always had a very diverse and wide playlist (considering this is a regional format, that is very damn impressive).

I really hope the format finds another landing spot after the KTWL sale is finalized. So far, it has had to find a new home twice by my count. 92.5 Navasota » 107.3 Caldwell » 105.3 Hempstead.

Roy is no dummy. I think the Texas mix format would do good in the Houston Market.

It is in the Houston market... Waller County is part of the Houston MSA.
