Laptop Pro Soundcard help

I'd appreciate your help with this. Got a new laptop to do some VTing with while I'm on the road. It came with Vista not XP. MAudio doesn't have drivers for Vista yet, so my old card is useless. Anyone know of a pro sound card for a laptop that is compatible with Vista? (By the way, so far I am totally unimpressed with Vista - see no benefit - things moved around just to be moved and incredibly s...l...o...w.
Thanks for your help.

Try an Edirol UA25..I think they posted drivers that are compatable with Vista.

I have two of these and they are ROCK solid for on the road work.

Is it still possible to order "off the shelf" towers/laptops with XP if you want it? Your take on it is the same as everyone elses//XP is fine just the way it is, and a LOT of apps are not buying into it.

BTW if you are using the FastTrack USB from MAudio they have a Vista driver here:

Maybe not your specific setup, but it shows that they (M Audio) are working on it.

Jeff,
Thanks so much for your help! I'll check out the Edirol. Yep, unfortunately, that M-Audio config doesn't work for me. I've read (wish I had done my homework beforehand) now that some PC manufacturers and retailers are reverting back to XP because of the many problems users are having with Vista and driver incompatiblility. I made the mistake of ASSUMING Vista wouldn't be all that different so when I bought the laptop with it preloaded I obviously didn't consider the ramifications.
