Lara Logan Rushed To Hospital

I have no idea who that is.

You're kidding me, right? Lara Logan, who was sexually assaulted and beaten up in Cairo? Lara Logan whose Benghazi interview with a contractor caused her suspension from CBS because her source was a fraud? Tell me you're not that clueless.

I repeat, I've never heard of this person.

No reason for anybody to berate you vchimpanzee. I guess you're not a 60 Minutes viewer. Until her suspension due to the Benghazi incident, she was a correspondent on that top rated news program. She is young-ish (early 40s), an experienced journalist, and originally from South Africa.

She lost a lot of cred due to her Benghazi story and her use of a since discredited source, and the revelation (possibley unfair, and not necessarily proven) that her coverage has been colored by her personal views that are Anti-Muslim, and pro-war.

I have never watched 60 Minutes and even I knew who she was from the highly public news stories surrounding her misadventures.

From what I've read of Lara, I don't think she's necessarily anti-Muslim but she definitely smelled a rat with the Benghazi scandal (as did many of us). Unfortunately for Lara, she interviewed the wrong rodent (without vetting the source) and it cost her. Her ambition got in the way.

Lara Logan's medical issues are her own business.

However, the biggest dangers to the health of foreign correspondents aren't bombs and bullets, but rather disease, unsafe/contaminated food and water, incarceration by the local police/military, and the inability to maintain normal personal standards of hygiene in some out of the way places. The effects of those conditions can build up over time.

When I hear his description it's possible I have heard of her. But I quit watching news magazines, even "60 Minutes", 20 years ago, except for Andy and the occasional special.
