Not really anything of any consequence that i can remember

A few decades ago, Rotorua, NZ was heard as far away as NY and Ohio and Michigan. 10 kw at the time.

There were Brazilians that would also come on before Chicago signed on on Monday mornings.

Good stuff, RadioGuy. I'll look forward to seeing more of these!

I'll ask a second question: With KOMO gone afer the pattern change, do you ever hear KTOK (Oklahoma City)? I'm guessing you occasionally....if not regularly... do hear XEOY from Mexico Coty. I used to hear them all the time mixing with with WCFL during my college days in Iowa.

Off topic: In my travels, I've spent a grand total of one night in Laramie. And drove through one other time during a local snowstorm. 30 miles of hell in the mountains, and then I was out of it. The overnight stay was about five years ago. Had dinner downtown at a brewpub....brick building across the street from the railroad tracks. Good food, good beer, and nice people. I forget the name, but I'd definitely go back. Added bonus: They had the Cubs game on TV! :)

Nope and Nope to KTOK and XEOY.... ive heard KTOK like two, maybe 3 times in 2 years here and im not sure ive ever heard XEOY

A bit surprising. I would think XEOY would make it in there sometimes.

Nope ,the Mexico city stations really dont... most of them are on frequencies with stations much closer to me

Here's Radio Progreso, 200KW on 890khz from Tuesday August 18th at 841pm mountain time. Audio is reduced to 3khz to get away from KRVN 880 splatter a bit. You can hear Mark Levin chattering away under it a tiny bit in spots, WLS is usually very dominant and loud here on 890.

Sounds like there might have been some auroral going on last night. Nice catches.

At our beach vacation near Pensacola, WLS and R.Progreso fight it out just about every night. It varies, but usually WLS gets the better of it. During the daytime, I could sometimes hear R. Progreso on 890 very weak on the SuperadioII. Or in the car along the beach highway. I'm not sure if that was due to daytime skywave or the saltwater path over the gulf. Even though we typcially on the beach late January thru February, I'm guessing saltwater path.

And like radioman, I'm a little surprised you haven't heard XEOY at your location. I've heard it a few times under WMVP. Very rare, but easy to ID with the sounder they use frequently. During my college days in Iowa, XEOY was a rather frequent nighttime pest whenever I was trying to listen to (then) WCFL.

And I could also hear XEOY in the background of WCFL during my college days in De Kalb only 65 miles west of Chicago. WCFL was pretty weak at night there.

KJRB 790 Spokane, WA made the 730 mile trip to Laramie, WY with its 34 watts on Wednesday September 2nd at 931pm mountain with "Rock Me Like a Hurricane".

Here's the audio and the signal gets pretty good right after the 20 second mark. Audio: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yTI-hxz3AVUsQX251q4--lDXyHqzQHm-/view?usp=sharing

KNZZ 1100 Grand Junction, CO usually plasters my radio at night in Laramie, Wyoming but a few days ago, their signal was so weak, I had a hard time telling that Joe Pags and his female co host were on the same station and that allowed WZFG 1100 Dillworth, MN (Fargo) to sneak through.

Here's WZFG from 585 miles away from Wednesday September 2nd at 10:15pm mountain time with Alex Jones. Audio:

KJJK-AM 1020 Fergus Falls, MN 370 Watts/2 towers at 585 miles away from me in Laramie, WY. Heard Thursday September 3rd at 928pm mountain with "Supalonely" by Benee ft. Gus Dapperton. .

KRPI 1550 Ferndale, WA has been heard here 975 miles away in Laramie, WY but it's 10kw/2 tower signal is never very good and it never pops in for very long. But, thankfully their south asian music stick out like a sore thumb on the radio dial and is pretty obvious.

Here they are from Thursday September 3rd at 1049pm. The music is there, it's a little rough but it's there.

Nice catch with KJJK, I've heard them on a few occasions at my locations doing battle with KDKA, but not recerntly. I remember thinkng that they might be treating their nighttime power/pattern as simply a "suggestion" given that I'm theoretically in their null in the direction of Pittsburgh. But I can see where they could be able to play by the rules and make the hop to Laramie.

I know their engineer personally and hes one of the nicest, easy going engineers but makes sure his plants operate legally. If theres a problem, he looks into it and takes care of it. Im nearly positive theyre operating legally.

I've heard their sister station, K-Barf 1250 all the time.. more power and DA is pointed right at me

Here in Laramie, WY 630khz is usually a mix of KHOW Denver and CHED Edmonton, but on Friday September 4th, something else showed up making a NEW log for me.

It was WREY St Paul, MN a 2400 Watt 3 tower signal 685 miles away. What I got from WREY isn't great by any means but the high pitched, high energy spanish music sticks out enough to match it to their webstream.
