Rodney, I used to work for Cumulus in another market. Don't feel bad. If there's one thing the brothers Dickey like to do, it's to punk people and keep them guessing. :eek:
 
They keep them guessing because they are guessing as well. Might as well throw darts like a monkey picking stocks! You never know how these things are going to work out. As much as anyone wants to tell me about all of the "flawed" research and blah, blah, blah until I'm blue in the face, just to justify their higher that should be gigs, no one EVER knows how any of these moves are ever going to turn out. The blind man can still sometimes find his nuts! lol...Or was it the squirrel? lol...

We always love the wisdom of these first time posters. They have knowledge of things relating to current or former Clear Channel employees.
 
Assuming this is really gonna happen, and I believe it is, am I the only one who thinks Eric comes out of this looking like a little b*&ch? I mean, this guy made a huge deal TWICE that he would "never work with Larry Wachs again and that the Regular Guys were o.v.e.r". Apparently Larry is atrocious to work with and makes everyone around him miserable. However, it seems to me like he's on Larry's leash and comes running any time Wachs feels like getting the team back together. I know he needs a job but at what point do you cash in your self respect?
 
Even though they hate each other, they also enjoy each other and as the months pass it's becoming apparent that they might need each other as well. For whatever reasons they either don't realize this or try to ignore it. That being said, I'd be very surprised if they worked together again.

I heard that the Eagle mentioned today that Southside Steve has left for a great opportunity. I guess they are getting the band back together. Today on Q100 one of their exec said that the new format on 100.5 will be huge. Seems like a lot of hyperbole but The Regular Guys coming back has to be one of the top thing to qualify as huge for that signal.
 
If the two-share twins do come back, Eric ought to just put on a dress and admit that he is, was, and always will be Larry's bee-yotch.

But they might actually do pretty well since their competition will be a jukebox, 17 country stations, and the ridiculous number of stations which are all chasing after the same 18-34 year old women.
