Larry Chance, 82; Lead Singer of The Earls

Just saw on the SiriusXM 50s Gold Facebook page that Larry Chance, the lead singer of the early 1960s doo-wop group The Earls, died today (9/5). Haven’t found a news article about it yet. Songs from this group include “Remember Then” and “Life Is But a Dream.” We’ve lost quite a few musicians over the last several days.

Our station will be featuring the Earls tomorrow (as well as the other three we lost, with songs not featured earlier). As stated earlier, not a good last few days.
