LARadio.com reports today that Larry Elder, syndicated afternoons from KABC/Los Angeles and host of "Moral Court" which recently started in re-runs on ION, will do an on-air audition for the former Don Imus slot.

Watching him right now and he's the first host to bring any sanity and color to MSNBC. Good job from Larry Elder.

I watched a little bit this morning and enjoyed it. But who were those two women with him? They didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the issues.

Let me express my deepest disappointment of MSNBC airing the morning programming entitled “The Larry Elder Show”. I was hoping for a real actual Libertarian and not another conservative who is a self-declared Libertarian who has mostly neo-con views such as MSNBC’s Tucker Carlson. Other than the reason that Larry Elder is in a minority group, I cannot for the life of me understand why MSNBC would not go out and look for a actual Libertarian and not another conservative calling themselves a Libertarian in error. Larry Elder claims to be a fiscal conservative and a liberal as far as social policy, but nothing in his show demonstrates this theory of thought. Larry Elder’s statements seem more like a pure conservative Bushie and not a Libertarian by any means. I will not view or listen to “The Larry Elder Show” since he is better suited to be aired on Cable Fox station of neo-conservatives that support the War in Iraq. Larry Elder’s background is similar to Bush and Cheney, in that when he had a chance to serve in Vietnam and did everything he could to get out of it and he has even admitted to being a Vietnam draft dodger, but now he was on board with the Iraq War from the start and stands by it to this day (which is another Vietnam and the taking of many American soldiers’ lives for false and needless reasons to America’s security and NO connection to America’s 9/11). Please Larry Elder, either reconsider yourself as a Libertarian or take up the Libertarian philosophy. I am so disappointed in MSNBC for considering you as worthy of airing your morning radio show. Maybe Larry Elder should go on Moral Court to determine if he is a hypocrite in his views and actions.
