larry king covering the NYC building collapse

WHAT A PRO.......left his hotel to cover the unfortunate story of the building collapse this morning...

i guarantee he didn't have to do it.........BUT THAT's WHAT A PRO DOES.......

and besides that...he sounded great.....

a great lesson for us all.........

Maybe he wanted to do it. But he deserves points anyway.

At the same time, he is still in the red point-wise in my book after that puff-ball, kiss-*ss birthday interview with Bush. And he's supposed to be a interviewer. That's what they hired him for, not street reporting.

i get your point as well

but i wonder just how many of the "new breed" of reporter would do it.....

King is of the generation that would do whatever is necessary in a situation like that.....

they are still doing "lives " with him as of 1pm eastern.......
