Larry O'Connor 'out' at KABC?

Promos say Dan Bongino assuming his two hours, along with taking one hour of Armstrong & Getty. Guess now I can leave my radio off until 12 noon. And KABC continues circling the drain....
 
But that was expected to happen. It was reported months ago cumulus was giving Dan Bonogino the nine to noon syndicated show slot. And Larry said today they tried to find time for his show on Kabc but couldn't due to his expanding role at there sister station WMAL in D.C.
 
Thanks for the info, hotpatrick.I had not seen that earlier report. Not sure that I believe that they were trying to find a slot for his show, but so be it. Will miss Larry's coverage of local issues.

Well the bottom line is KABC is heavy on WWO syndicated programming and the parent company undoubtedly sees it more in their interest to clear Bongino live, and be able to keep Larry dedicated to the show on WMAL.
