I think Larry is going to have to look for a new line of work. What would he be good at? He is good at selling himself. That is a major plus in being a good salesman. So, what should he do? How about car sales, Insurance, real estate, mortgages, telephone solicitations? These are all fields that x radio people have jumped into. My bet is that he starts pushing mortgages. That's where I would place my money.
 
Mike Rose is doing well doing the mortgage thing.
But then....Mike is one of the few who have actually grown up and got real jobs.
Do you think Larry may consider growing up and finding a real way to make a living?
 
Real fans would know Larry should open a brisket restaurant :)
 
Larry is welcome to contact me if he interested in the mortgage business. I am earning more money than I did in radio but I never hosted a FM morning show where they earn the real radio bucks.

I've been listening to the RG's podcast as Larry has been posting golden oldies and it is great. The old show was so much better. I highly recommend them.

Calling some guy Larry met in a chat room that thought larry was a girl is a classic.

WhatdoIknow I just figured out why you think I'm in CC management...the ad that I posted from AllAccess seeking to replace the RG's. You're right. I'm busted. I am Chris Williams and I thought I'd cheaply attract one of the super talented people who read this board, people who have all the answers and could fix all that ails CC with a snap of their collective fingers. I havent a clue what you do for a living Mr. What et al but lets hope you're not a detective because you're way off base. 1+1=11, right? Actually, if I had to venture a guess you're just another bitter fringe player who was dumped by CC. If that's the case then I'm truly sorry. Really. It's not nice losing your livelihood or your dreams. And that was the thrust of my original post about Atlantascum taking cheap shots at Larry.
 
If beef is in CC management, how will this affect Q100?
 
What a waste of a thread. Larry will be fine. I'm pretty sure he isn't looking here for job prospects.
 
Again, easy for you to rationalize someone else's troubles/misfortune because they don't affect you. Do you think for a second Larry is happy this happened? And I'm sure your flippant "he'll be just fine" really gets him through the day. People have bills, kids in school that don't want to move, ties to a city. Don't write off a guy being fired, albeit a very talented one, as "he'll be fine". And, God, when did I become his boyfriend. I'm done this too. My apologies for having a heart
 
I hope Larry is aware that there are crisis hotlines available and there is no charge to call them. A lot of unemployed people with no money find this very useful. Also, I wonder what morning show he listens to when he's out looking for a job? I bet he listens to the Bert show. What do you think? Have a merry Christmas everybody.

Thank you for admitting that you helped put Larry and Eric in the position that they are in and torpedoing Eric’s Saturday talk show.

CC has taken some really great stations in Atlanta, Philadelphia and DC and reduced them to rubble as compared to what they were previously. I guess you guys are really proud of yourselves.

By the way, you got that resume all polished and ready for distribution?
 
Oh my. And I dared doubt 3 years that Pres. Bush could fool people into falling for the Iraq War. I've overestimated the intelligence of the American public again it seems. I was upset that the RG's got fired and you've turned this into me being a CC supporter? I was defending Larry. Re-read it puh-leeze. [EDIT]

I am not certain what President Bush has to do with this. Why would you interject him in this conversation? I do know that if you were trying to stand up for your principals you did not stand up long enough . . . Maybe your value system is different . . . And if I am mistaken why don't you post your side of the story here as well as how hard you fought for your talent?

Maybe I don't read so well . . . A product of government schools here, guilty as charged. I simply responded to the moderator's edit. So, are you going to post your side of the TRG story for us? Or do you prefer continued verbal masturbation?
