Lars Larsen

Did anyone catch Lars Larsen hammering away at Michael Savage last night? Lars played audio of Savage trashing Lars, Hannity and Rush for getting interviews with Dennis Hastert when he did not. Lars went off on Savage. It was the best show I have heard Lars do in a long time. Although Savage's audience is gigantic compared to Lars, it was nice to hear the little guy go after him on the air. I love radio wars!

...fascist vs. fascist. Yeah, right. Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair throwing promos at each other on TBS in the mid-'80s had more of a basing in reality than either one of those pitiful clowns do...

lars larsen, the 1,000-watt blowtorch of the soon-to-be defunct AM dial ...

Does anyone catch Lars Larsen - at all - any night - hammering away about anything?

Is he on anyplace except a few small stations in the Northwest during the late night period?

I have to admit, I've never heard him and he's about the only national host I can say that about.
I've tried to listen, although not very hard.
He may be the greatest talk show host to whom God ever loaned talent, but it seems the guy can't get traction, buzz or stations.
What's the problem?

He sucks. He's like Sean/Savage/Reagan/Hewitt, but with a 10 watt bulb, instead of 20.

I listen to Lars on KRLD in Dallas. I love the show. Great guests.. different spin on the stories than Rush or Sean. In my opinion, he is just more interesting and intellectual than the other shows. But different strokes for different folks I guess.

Lars's show is carried on about 100 stations (more than any AAR host). However, most of the stations are in Northwest and probably reach no more than 15 million potential radio listerners. He also in generally carried in the low-rated late spot.
