How can you tell Galaxy had ANOTHER sucky Fall book?
LaRue doesn't do a column on the numbers!!!
Can't get those ever important Ed quotes when his company sucks as bad as it did this time around(again)
Meanwhile back at the ranch B is just one more book away from 40 straight books at number one. For those of you at Galaxy, that's 10 STRAIGHT YEARS.
Galaxy hold a party when one station FINALLY cracks the top 5 25-54,but C.C. just keeps working as it hold the three of the top 5 spots in ALL demos.
Check those 18-34 numbers, can it BE a bigger runaway?
Check 25-54,35-64 I mean REALLY!!!
Hey did you check those revenue numbers for Jan????
Well, back to work, gotta keep dominating the market for ANOTHER 10 years.
Love and kisses,

Gee, has Cheap Channel really owned B for 10 years? Or did they just open their wallets and BUY most of the heritage stations in Syracuse, and systematically gut them until they remain little more than a shell of the once-proud stations that they were.

Not that the other groups have been able to take advantage of their penury...

Meanwhile, the Genius is sharpening the pencils in his cubicle so he can take notes from the real sales people.

Put the crack pipe down for a minute and get a grip.
TK is # 2 Adults 25-54 and # 1 M25-54 BY A LOT.There was a ratings article spotlighting how well Sunny did in the Fall ARB.You must have missed it while doing all those dubs!

You keep making excuses why C.C. dominates the market, and we'll just keep, well, dominating.
CC bought this, CC bought that, blah blah blah. That's called good business, something your uncle ed knows nothing about. The other moron is celebrating the fact that tk is number 2 25-54, FINALLY. Well congrats. Call me when you are number 1 for 10 straight years. Check the demos chum, and get back to me.How's 18-34 doing? 35-64? every demo,EVERY daypart.
But hey, that christmas music really helped sunny almost reach a 4 share!!!
So what do you do the rest of the year???
Check the revenue figures for the month of Jan yet?
> Well, those are my posts for the quarter. See you when the winter book comes out and we celebrate 10 years at number 1.

Dumb-inating

I'm sure that your contribution to Cheap Channel's continued success is invaluable. After all, the bean counters wouldn't be able to slice and dice the budgets effectively without sharp pencils.

> Check the revenue figures for the month of Jan yet?

Gee, fill us in on just how much of that revenue YOU generated. We'd all like to know.

If only we could believe that you'd go away until May.

Re: U.R. Dumb-inating

Dude, are you just coming into this board and snipping at people who dont have your opinion? Lets see you come up with the answer. Why is it guys like Stern, or Rick and Ron at WOLF can take these small signals and dominate the market. Ill tell you what, its not by saying "bye-bye" 20 times when you sign off at the end of your shift. We can sit here and listen to the reasons why so, are you just here to make fun of everyone? Or can we be constructive on a national forum.

Dumb, Dumb-Dumb-Dumb

> Dude, are you just coming into this board and snipping at
> people who dont have your opinion?

Yep. I especially like snipping at people who haven't worked in radio in 10 or more years, yet think they know something about the current state of the business. In fact, I'm so into snipping, I'm thinking of giving myself a new nickname - Sir "The Barber" Roxalot.

> Why is it guys like Stern, or Rick and Ron at
> WOLF can take these small signals and dominate the market.

Well, with Stern, he's a master self-promoter who appeals to the lowest common denominator. That's one way getting numbers. As far as WOLF is concerned, are we talking about the station that would have to more than double its numbers to get a 1.0 share? Yeah, that's dumb-ination.

> Are you just here to make fun
> of everyone? Or can we be constructive on a national forum.

I was being constructive by fixing your run-on sentence and capitalizing words correctly when I quoted from your original post.

As far as making fun of everyone is concerned...

There are a number of people who post here whom I respect and admire. You're just not one of them.

Once again you are an idiot. If you're one of the corporate figureheads then you can brag all you want about numbers. If you are anyone else, life is miserable and you still don't get any respect. So some sales people can take other jobs while others are threatened with a compete clause. What a joke. That sounds illegal to me. Anybody making any money? Keep yapping about your stupid numbers. Oh, we're clear channel we don't sell with numbers.

Re: Smart

Haven't worked in radio for 10 years? Some would say CONGRATS. The current state of the business is bad, VERY BAD. Stern is a good self promoter, very good. Rick and Ron are not on a station with a 1 share, shows a lot about your EXPERIENCE in Syracuse RADIO, not spelling. Lets see you name one person that works at Clear channel that you respect and admire. Not the owners, but the people that do the work.

I'm sorry. I guess you're referring to people that worked at WOLF over 20 years ago, huh? I forgot that you're stuck in the past, and don't have any connection to radio in 2006.

Let's see you name one person at Clear Channel who will take your phone calls. Even the receptionist has been warned about you.

Calling "The Genius" and pretending you want to buy air time doesn't count.

Now go back to trying to come up with another "clever" screen name.

If you look to be precise with spelling, lets see you be precise with facts. Some would say i have a great knowledge of the past and a lot of work experience to go with it. I also have a healthy furture with my involvement in internet radio and mp3 voiceovers as well as my current job. You have slipped, that one was easy.

Called yesterday, this time it wasnt about airtime but i have lots of local friends. Thats two easy ones and you still didnt give us a name. Lets see you get along with people for once and not just the company they work for. Right, youre not normal enough to have friends.

Dont tell me what to do, its your kind that need to get out of radio altogether. Wrecking the business and cant get any numbers. End of discussion, dont reply.
