Most of New Mexico got the LA Four into the 1980s, with some areas keeping KTLA and KTTV (the top two independents in LA) into the 1990s

They were fed by microwave to New Mexico. And many cable systems in areas of the Western United States that didn't have independent stations carried Los Angeles independent stations.
