On the morning show on Las Vegas radio station kxnt 840AM, the PD/Manager "Jack" was visiting with morning host Alan Stock. During a segment called the "flip" (flip-up or flip off someone or something)... a couple callers expressed the concern that Savage had about the Texas FLDS children being hauled off in mass. The "Boss", as he likes to be known, got angry and said: "The only talk show host that has this view is Michael Savage and he is a racist...he is an idiot...all he does is talk about San Francisco Politics..."
For some time kxnt was running a bumper on the Lavine show that stated: "not racist radio, just great radio, now back to the Great One, Mark Lavine."
This is interesting because:
1)Aren't left leaning people prone to through around the term "racist?"
2)While some of the teaching of this church/cult mike tend to be that way (Cann killed Able-therefore offsprings of Hamm who was black? are cursed? etc. How is saying the government over reacted "racist?"
Also if all he talks about is SF politics, why was he talking about the Texas cult?
3)Next, Alan Stock did fill-in work for Savage when he was starting out on ksfo in SF, and they seemed to have a friendly relationship at that station, both being from the North Bay, having advanced degrees, etc. Does Stock share Jack's view?
4)Las Vegas KDWN's Savage show has better ratings than Mark Lavine and the local guy on kxnt according to some people on the Nevada BOARD. It sure seemed the manager was mad and frustrated. Is that the real reason he is doing the name calling?
5)Must talk radio be such that all hosts have to hold the same view on everything? Some don't see much difference between Lavine and Savage. Why was Limpbaugh let go from the NFL "color" commentator job? Wasn't race a factor there? Kxnt runs Limpbaugh, Hannity, Lavine, Laura and Coast to Coast along with a couple of local shows. Some might think their racist too.
6) KXNT is a CBS station I believe, do any of there stations across the country run Savage?
7) Savage will be in Vegas this week because his multi-millionaire son's company is backing a major boxing match here. With his suit against CAIR, I wonder if Savage likes being called a "racist." The manger didn't say in "in my opinion" when making his comments.
