Las Vegas Radio Getting Boring

Spending too much time lately hearing the same old thing on local radio. There needs to be a change in what's going on. Either "Star" tweaks their music to more of a 80's, 90's and now to compete with "Mix" or another station out there needs to stir it up. Not enough competition to brag about makes local radio suck. X1075, Jack, Komp, Mix, KWNR, Sunny, Star pretty much have no real competitor out here. Jack plays what they want. Most of it is getting pretty boring since they have no jox on the air. Cant get my traffic updates or hear latest on artist on the air. They don't say if the artist is coming to Vegas or if they are even on tour. That's hurting Jack big. X, yeah they brought in a new afternoon show. Can you say they suck! They think their the replacement for Stern come Jan 06. I don't recall anyone saying the show is even decent to be on afternoon drive. Komp, Been listening more often than usual. Maybe the closest competition Mix has. Just one thing, they sound small market. I think Demo Dave needs to spice it up a bit on the imaging and maybe they should target more female listeners. I know their demo is men, but they can stir it up a bit by targeting females without the pop music. Mix, getting really boring hearing the same crap over and over. They need a new creative imaging department. A group who can think out of the box. Produce new sweepers every few weeks. Maybe they should rotate the music a little less than keep cramming songs in heavy rotation every hour and twenty two minutes...Halla Back! KWNR finally has a station out there to take away the old farts who don't like the new stuff. However, Clear Channel needs to go live instead of voice tracking nearly every minute of the day. That goes for Sunny too! Now that Lite 100 is out of the picture, KJUL has the perfect opportunity to go A/C with the addition of John Tesh. What are the cheeps at Beasley thinking. Its time to move into Sunny's listeners. KJUL is the perfect call letters to become Lite 104.3 The Lite and Relaxing Station for your day. They play pretty much the same artist as Sunny only more standards like Tony Bennett. Star should hit mix where it counts. It has a better library of 80's music. All they need to do is add some more 90's and today's artist to the variety they play and Mix will surely take a dive in the ratings. It will also give Star more advertising power and higher ratings. Whoever the PD is, they need to be slapped and put in place. Star has the biggest chance at hurting mix's ratings. Wake up people! Radio in Vegas is boring. Stir the pot and make the competition ring. Hip Hop radio is the only war in town. What happen to the radio war's of the past. Are PD's afraid of competition these day's? Maybe someone will read this and hopefully they will have the power to shake Vegas were it counts the most. Radio War!

Can't we all get along?

...ooh, except for John Tesh...KILL HIM!!!!!

I usually don't comment on anything as petty as spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, etc. I know I'm not perfect by any means. But may I suggest that you divide your thoughts by paragraph. Your ideas would be a lot easier to read and comprehend.
