Las Vegas two dance stations

Which do you prefer?

Jelli 96.7FM?
or
The Highway Vibe 99.7, 98.9, and 98.1 FM?

After listening to both stations. I think I prefer Jelli 96.7FM. The highway vibe has a huge signal in the high desert and las vegas. But some of the dance songs they play on the station don't appeal to me. Jelli, has gold and current dance/remixed songs. ;D

Jelli is all over the place because it is user controlled. Sometimes I love Jelli and other times I can't stand it. The Highway Vibe is more consistent but can be bland and repetitive.

Overall I vote Jelli. I like Jelli's imaging a lot better too. That British lady has a sexy voice.

If you have a smartphone use Tune Inn and look under Las Vegas. The audio on the Highway Stations suck. Jelli is much better to stream.

Someone PLEASE fill me in on my ignorance. The Vibe was originally 94.5. But Now it's on like 3 other frequencies? What is on 94.5 then? And Is Mike still involved? And when did Jelli come into the picture? Are they affiliated?

BTW, This is the best way to stream Both Stations:
Jelli
http://tunein.com/tuner/?StationId=65881&
Vibe
http://tunein.com/tuner/?StationId=140762&

Jelli Rock is now on 94.5FM and Jelli Dance is on 96.7FM. From what I hear that aren't affiliated.

The highway Vibe is on 99.7FM in the Stateline of California/Nevada Border to Las Vegas, 98.9FM is Laughlin, NV area and 98.1FM is in the Barstow area, long with a translator on 98.3FM in Victorville.

Before The Highway Vibe, the Highway Stations had an AC format known as "FM 98 or 99 The Highway Stations, Your Vegas Radio"

It's nice that Vibe ended up on a better signal after all this mess. People driving between LA and Vegas can only get 3 stations on FM, Highway Rock, Highway Country, and Highway Vibe.

The owners of 94.5 (and 96.7) signed a contract with Jelli, bumping Vibe off 94.5. Then Vibe got an agreement with Highway Radio to air on the Highway Stations from midnight-5. Apparently it was performing better than the regular AC format, so it was extended to 24 hours a day on the Highway Stations. There's a booster on 99.7 in Vegas that's a better signal than 94.5. It's better for the listeners overall, with the exception of the few listeners in the Moapa Valley, Mesquite, and St George.

Interesting...so what was all that Talk about them syndicating a Dance format from NY? Is Oaks still involved?

Oaks isn't involved in this. Joel Salkowitz is. And to that, I think he wanted to bring the Pulse 87 online radio station to Vegas.

Joel is a consultant for Jelli. He picks the music played on Jelli Top 40 remix. Joel is not involved with Highway Vibe.

Oaks is the PD/MD (i believe) of the Highway Vibe... It's quite a baffling situation... but seems that with the seemingly demise of Vibe 94.5 (and the possible loss of Dance for Las Vegas), brought the Vibe (and Oaks) a better and much broader range! Overall, I believe a definate WIN. Just wish the Highway Vibe imaging would kick it up a few notches... Let's bring back the Original Vibe imaging!

Can we get the Highway Energy in Phoenix? or perhaps Energy Loop 101? Oh wait, Energy used to be Loop 101...lol (no pun intended).
