"Last Call" Ruling On WMPH TOTAL CONTROL RADIO

"Last Call" winds up in the Top Three every week(despite not being in the station's regular playlist),battling it out with Madonna, etc, and "Last" seems to have been 'honey' attracting lots of bees to this show, and the fantabulous WMPH itself on line, since we started "Call"-ing; Ray Devine has been including the record every week on his amazing "ClubHouse" show. Thanks to WMPH !
Edited by lalumia on 03/03/06 02:14 AM.

Kris does a good job with the rotation. Total control is a show that you vote to hear songs to be played. Maybe your fans are requesting it and thats why its getting played.

Kris does a GREAT job with the rotation, no one said otherwise; I think it's an interesting point that we're doing great every week while not being in rotation, and it IS noticable that the numbers and overall votes have gone wild on "Total Control" since we've been publicizing our stint there.I have the greatest admiration for the station and the programming, obviously, and am happy ro be part of it.
By the way, "Last Call" is in it's 17th week at Belgium's "tastemaker Tempo FM(only Madonna and Bob Sinclair have hung around as long)after peaking at #11,

Clubnet.com is on the track,as is WUSB-FM Stony Brook, the opening of the track is part of a musical 'bed' on LI's Party 105,it's STILL on Dannyra's "Dance Master Chart" Top 30 in Mexico after three months, etc, so it's not really an isolated incident.
Edited by lalumia on 03/03/06 02:25 AM.

Re:

I'm glad the show is so well received. You're in the top spots for this week too. You've gotten the second largest response ever. I don't know the story behind it, but some Jill Criscoulo fans really ran up the voting about six weeks ago. It would take some serious voting to take out their 11k record.

Are you going to be at WMC at the end of the month?

-Ben

"Last Call" is on Strong Island, and has made big noise around the world; we're trying to 'tow' in the non-hardcore potential dance fans, who seem to react to the 'personality'' element of the Jimi records(talking about myself in the third person,as usual) and help broaden dance's appeal with records that walk the line, careful not to fall into the 'total novelty' category, cos they aren't.
WMPH's Ray Devine 'gets' the "Jimi" thing,he's been playing "Last Call" on his CLUBHOUSE show for the last several weeks, and has invited me to be interviewed on "CLUBHOUSE' on March 14th.....Thanks again to all for hopping on board this project....WMPH ROCKS!
