Last Diary Book

If I'm not mistaken the numbers that were just released are the last diary book for Charlotte. Wow 12+ The Link doesn't look very good. I hope they don't change anything until we see what they look like using PPM.

As for PPM are people really going to want to carry that pager like thing around with them all the time? What would keep someone from just parking it in front of their radio and leaving it there? Maybe they could put it on the family dog?

It's the last diary book, and stations that are subscribed will get pre-currency data for the July book around the middle of August (full book, just can't sell with it).

The PPM has a motion sensor and algorithms detect a wide variety of usage possibilites. The degree of movement and kind of movement that a dog would register can be excluded. If a metered person does not have the necessary daily movement, they get a follow up call and thier meter is not in-tab for the day. Consistent lack of usage of the meter results in the entire household being dropped.

Interesting David, thanks for the info. I find it hard to fathom why people in this day and age would want to bother wearing this thing? Especially with all the concerns these days about privacy. Arbitron must do one heck of a sales job on them.

Can't believe WLYT is #10, behind the alternative and two CHR's. That's pretty sad.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. They dropped a local morning show for a syndicated show. WEND's gain was WLYT's loss. Shows should be syndicated out of a top 25 market (i. e. Bob & Sheri, John Boy and Billy) , not brought in.
