Hats off to PIX for trying something different.
5 has had the 10PM news race locked up for years...
But the execution is poor. Too much happening on the screen, and I get nervous watching Applegate run around the newsroom.
Instead of gimmicks, why not do a condensed 30 minute newscast, and then maybe team up with one of the regional sports nets for a nightly sports show or something? Or, just go to the syndie stuff and pack it in??
