Last Trend before PPM Launch

The WOOOLFFFF wins again as Seattle radio cowboys roll into the PPM this week ;D
Yeah i know the diary don't mean nuthin but WOLF beat KMPS again in Feb, just like Jan
It is gonna be a horse race for a number of formats rolling into the PPM:
KBKS and KUBe are damn near tied for the first time in years and they both are gonna be in the same building :p Wonder who will win the CHR war in the PPM. Wonder if there will be fist fights between T-Man and Bender in the same building or maybe slap fights ;) MOVIN done died and gone away even before PPM arrives :-\
Battle for boys is a turd whirler! KZOK and KISW are neck and neck for number one in men 25-54  Wonder who will win the battle for boys in the PPM.
Country battle is a good one. So is the battle for chicks. KPLZ won January and KCMS won February, plus WARM is in the hunt :-X
KIRO is winning the news battle by a mile but is about to throw a cowpie into the fan by splittin things up and launchin a sports station tomorrow  Who wins the sports battle KJR or KIRO? Who wins the news/talk KIRO as a solo FM or KOMO ??? Maybe KTTH ???

Damn cowboys this is gonna be a good ole ride ;D Ain't it funny that Adam Corolla got his best month on the end with a first place finish on his way out the door. Ain't that always the case ;) Happy PPM numbers to all and to all a good night 8)

Should be exciting to see who benefits and who suffers with the arrival of PPM. Also if what you say is true of Adam, then it seems the end would be smart putting on a show that is similar (mostly talk) rather than spinning tunes all morning. Financially it makes sense for them to just have one person in there, plus they would be offering an all music alternative at the same time BJ Shea's show is on KISW. But if a mostly all talk morning show is what pulls in the best numbers for your station, why not stick with it?

Not sure what numbers you're looking at TIFM, but this data in front of me doesn't show The Wolf Seattle ahead of KMPS. In fact, KMPS hit Wolf with a semi-truck in mornings...ten-four good buddy, (honk honk).

While most of us look at the REAL ratings, TIFM filters his responses through his partisanship for The Wolf. Gives us fitz every time.

Not a big fan of TIFM posts, but in this case he is actually right, just a bit loud about it. KWFF has won three of the last four monthly extraps 25-54 adults, including the last two. January was very strong, February was low, but KMPS was a tick lower. In morning drive KMPS still wins. I guess PPM will determine who the real winner is. There are so few country station battles in the first eleven markets it is hard to make any projections. NY, LA, SF, Chicago, Philly et al are really not big Country music towns.
