You're probably right there NH Radiochild. Being number one in the people ratings and being last in the company in revenue ratings sort of counterbalances things out. Mr. Mahhhbles left the only town he ever worked in radio to take on a "Lake" for a while.

Figure of speech on the money, my friend. I never have 'dirty' money. :) !
 
The entertainment value is well worth the price of admission.. ;D
 
Someone please explain what you find wrong with the Rutland station... You like Fox but hate all of the other 5 stations in Rutland... This makes it very clear to me that you have a problem with, your terms not mine, The Bear and Mr. Professor... I buy from these stations and do many things with them. I know who you are trying to run down here... These people are very professional... Look at the times your comments were posted... The same person has signed on under different names and posted comments about these people... Someone doesn;t have a life... Come on people... Keep up the good work in Rutland....
 
Richard...what you are reading are comments from people who remember the stations in Rutland as GREAT stations...now lowered to the limited view of Catamount management...you buy from them...don't you think that the product you pay for should be geared towards the ENTIRE listening area? How far do you want your advertising dollars to go...Rutland County only? Take Cat Country...Pamal fans on this board think its the "best" and cite ratings in Rutland County to make their case...but if the Gilligan family had any vision, they would move Cat to a 50K station and rule the upper valley! Instead, you spend money on a signal that can't get beyond Killington Brandon Danby and Fair Haven...Remember the days when they would sponsor incredible country festivals...those days are gone...we on this board would like them to return...as would you.
 
Richard R, anything is open for discussion on this board. If the discussions go beyond the confines of good taste or unsubstantiated slander then the moderator jumps in. We have the right and radio knowledge to point things out, question, comment, and maybe even learn something here. Pamal-Rutland owns 5 out of 6 commercials radio stations here as you well know. That's almost an monopoly by definition, and they have a tangible track record of their performance here regardless of emotional opinion. Nobody here uses 2 different names, that's funny that you think that.
 
Richard R, since we have established a dialogue here, with your participation, can I have some tickets for your classic rock concert to giveaway on one of the classic rock stations out of the market to the north that I am working with ? Thanks !
 
Jo Jo , no tickets for you.... My ignoring your phone calls should have answered that for you already... I think the fact that Pamal Rutland owns 5 outof 6 stations really has nothing to do with all of these comments posted here.... Those 5 stations are being managed the best that they have ever been... The reputation that the management has is this area should prove that... Some people hate change.... You must be one of those peeople.....
 
You are playing politics against practicallity here, but that's your choice. End of conversation on that matter. The management of those 5 facilities speak for themselves. Your view is totally biased, and that's fine. Change is good, especially if it's for the better, and make sense in the big picture.
