After a week of transmitting "black", there is now programming on KCVH Channel 30, but with a very poor, almost useless signal at my location around 25 miles from the transmitter. They are obviously on reduced power, as I would be just within the 74dBu contour if they were running full throttle, according to the coverage map on the FCC site. LP channels 21 and 43 both put in decent signals on my portable set with a hoop UHF antenna, and even lesser powered 34 is viewable here. But it looks like 30 has more work to do before they are running full strength. Audio is an issue as well, very low level, well below the relative carrier strength.LAT-TV was running its "Cocina Nativa" cooking show while I was checking the signal.
