CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Multi-time Grammy Award winning artist Mariah Carey announced on Monday she will be stopping in Cleveland in time for the holidays.
Carey will be bringing her “Merry Christmas One And All! Tour” to Rocket Mortgage Field House Dec. 7, according to a LiveNation press release.
The stop will be one of her exclusive Christmas concerts for the holiday season, the release says.
Tickets go on sale beginning Friday, Nov. 3 at 9 a.m., with presale going live Thursday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m.

Good guess. Although they are announcing on air they plan to flip to all-Christmas on that date. And have been announcing it since September.

The Fish has a good variety of Christmas songs cause they incorporate the religious songs as well for Christmas and that opens up the playlist. Stations like WMJI should also play the Bob Rivers parody songs too.
Those Bob Rivers songs are as annoying is Grandma Got Run Over...
Cause people are tired of hearing Billy Joel Piano Man being played 20 times a day or Led Zeppelin Kashimir and many other songs WMJI beats to death 11 months out of year? I actually couldn't care less. Obviously it is popular cause WMJI is doing it early. Whether you, me or anyone else likes it or dislikes it. The vitriol they get on their page is a small minority. That is the case for anything. People are more apt to complain on a review than compliment. Either way no sweat off my back.

Well, there's this new innovation called streaming. You can listen to whatever strange and unique variety your little heart desires. Doesn't matter what time of year it is.
I can't hear WMJI anyway. Just find it strange that of all the things happening to the industry and the geopolitical environment, that radio nerds get so excited predicting or reporting when Christmas music starts on whatever radio stations.
and if you've seen my posts I've said that repeatedly here. Just as you don't understand why people are excited about Christmas music I don't understand why every year people complain about Christmas music playing on the radio now? Its not like this isn't something that happens every year. Put on 106.5 it is the same format minus a few songs as 105.7.
No, but even you have to admit, just as with retail, it seems to be happening sooner each year. In the future it will bring a whole new meaning to Christmas in July. The sad thing is we'll all have to put up with predictions starting in the spring or summer. Won't that be fun! No, not really.
Let people predict who cares. There is really nothing to talk about here anymore. There are real problems in the world if someone wants to predict the start of a Christmas format have at it. I can choose not to respond or just scroll past. The culture we live in now too many people are offended by everything and we have to let everyone know how offended we are and everyone has to be offended on our behalf. I m just a different person if I don't like a topic I just scroll past it and ignore it. Anyway good discussion. Peace. I m gonna go listen to some podcasts I enjoy.
