Sam Malone's doing double duty at sister stations in Houston, TX; mornings at Mix96.5 and middays at KTRH/Newsradio 740.

Rocky Allen is doing afternoon drive at ABC O&O WPLJ/95.5 FM in New York.

Looks like they've both moved up in the world.

sam malone !?

knew rocky was "passing thru" waaay too talented to stay "here"
-
but did sam malone, ( patent catch phrase: C-YA!)<--said, about 1/8 of a second!! lol,
keep that name, after cheers ?!

gotta check him out.

footnote:
of the kiss_alum, dj's...know doc reno, is /was in kc, was never a huuuge fan.
but knew he was *good * at what he did - just maybe buffalo wasnt the
best place for his 'stick'

doc reno :

footnote:
that wasnt a bad thing, but i remember,
him always pushin the envelop, and/or going too far..
-not then, not really now,
buffalo isnt a let it all hang out, kinda market...
oh yea, we get crazy, and drink til 4am, but
we like to be mild-mannered, while losing our minds!

Jim McGee is still heard on 97-Rock on the weekends. He was off during football season, but is back on a regular basis.

I worked at WBUF in the early 90's ('92 - '93). What became of Chris Whittingham, Jack Camarda and Lenny Scott (overnight guy)?

Here in Erie, PA...I worked with Mike Manion for a short period of time, who I believe worked at WBUF starting in 1993. Last I saw online, he was replaced at a station in Jersey by Steve O'Brien.

I think I have seen Chris Wittingham's name as a cluster OM in Florida.
