Has Jam'n EVER been a station to break new music? If I thought repetitive, same songs over and over for 4 months on the hour, then you got it right on the spot!

I don't think Jamin has ever made a secret of the fact that they are a rap station programmed for white teenagers who expect to hear the same 20 songs over and over again.

Listening to Jamin for a good variety of urban music is like listening to WCRB and expecting a good mix of classical music

Hey rapking within the past week I have noticed that they added both Lil Wayne/ Jay-Z "Mr. Carter", and Usher's "Moving Mountains"...

Did they get the early jump on those two or have other similar stations across the country moved on them already?

So true , When Sloppy Radio One WBOT was here, WJMN did Long Holiday weekend Mix shows. I Turn on Jamn this morning(7-4-08), It sound like a old Voicetrack tape on the air. When you the only game in town, there nothing to lose( Boston Needs a Urban/Urban A/C or another CHR/R station ).

WILD-AM 1090( Tape Urban Oldies) get a 1 share ( Better than WFNX ) with no one there, and no promotion of the station, and a Daytimer AM signal .

I MISS THOSE DAYS!!!!

They used to rotate up to 6-7 different mix dj's, ALL WEEKEND LONG (sometimes for 4 days/nights straight) ...

Those shows were GREAT. You NEVER knew what you were going to hear.
