Late Late Show in Scotland

I think its been a couple of weeks since the Late Late Show in Scotland aired. I was wondering if anyone watched them and how they thought about the production.

I enjoyed it. I thought like the Paris shows, the post-production choices were a bit odd. A longer segment or interview was chopped up into short segments to air on other days, giving the show a bit of a disjointed feel.

I think that's my biggest criticism of his show when based in LA. His current studio is tiny, so all musical guests are pre-recorded because there isn't room for his set and a band set-up. There are times he is clearly pre-recorded weeks before with a "new" show. In that sense, Letterman has it right: do five shows in four days. It gives Dave more time off, yet the shows feel "current".

I read when Ferguson signed his new contract recently, part of the deal is that he gets a larger studio at CBS Television City. The show certainly needs it.

He had mentioned that on the air, about a lrger studio. I thought the new studio would have been unveiled the MOnday after the Scotland shows.
