Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon

It is taking me awhile to get used to the fact that Jimmy Fallon is a talk show host. But doesn't the Late Night logo look like the Late Late Show with Tom Snyder logo?
 
Definitely looks like the old logo. Boy, Fallon is really taking some getting used to.
 
His humor is way more cleaner than Jay Leno's is. In the first week, there was not one monologue joke involving sex. The parental guidelines rating could be lowered to TV-PG with no problems.

Instead, there are people (including guest Drew Barrymore) "Licking It for $10". It is what it implies...people licking foreign objects for a $10 bill.

Apparently, NBC has had the highest ratings in years. However, given the more conservative humor, this may not last. We may be looking at a replacement for Fallon soon...especially with Conan's more "childish" humor before him.

Until Joel McHale replaces Lorne Michaels' "Prattle of the SNL Combed Guest and Host Dirge" and continues to deflect the fact that SNL has been in a writing drought for years through some sort of elaborate smoke and mirrors routine that makes David Blaine even say "How the Hell do they do that?", enjoy your sub-par product.

I'll take Ferguson and the puppets. The available viewing audience will see the same way very soon.
 
Whenever there is a major change lke this, people tune in to see. When Katie Couric took ove the CBS Evening News, they had there highest ratings ever for about a little over a month. When Jay hosts his final Tonight SHow he will have his highest rating ever, when Conan steps out on his first Tonight Show stage, he too will have his highest ratings ever. Those things are expected. The suits will look at the long run for actuall successes.
 
Iv's noticed that the studio audience isn't laughing to much at the monologue the writing needs improvement, Conan had a rough time his first week to,maybe in time Jimmy will get better, I'm with robnoxious Ferguson is funnier.As far as the logo looking like the old late late show with Tom Snyder it does.
 
He looks like a deer in headlights sometimes. Guess we'll just have to cut him some slack for a while. It ain't easy following Conan O'Brien.
