KFRC sounds great and getting better. Bet they wish they had the 99.7 spot back, but they'll do okay. The Bay Area needs a station like it, so they made the right move.
 
KFRC extraps 0.9 to 1.3 to 1.0 the last month had a 1.0 Now that is growth....BIG Growth...just like CBS FM in NYC.

Up from Free FM's cume? Even the Oakland A's can out cume Free FM.
 
I'm glad the A's were mentioned because they do bring in a lot of ratings for KFRC. I wonder why KFRC doesn't do more promotions with the A's.
 
It costs them money. The A's blow out 5 hours a day for 5 months that you could sell regular spots during. They have such a restrictive contract, you can't sell much into the sports broadcast. On the old 99.7 and 610, the A's didn't add much cume, although they did in the past on other stations.
