KFRC sounds great and getting better. Bet they wish they had the 99.7 spot back, but they'll do okay. The Bay Area needs a station like it, so they made the right move.
It costs them money. The A's blow out 5 hours a day for 5 months that you could sell regular spots during. They have such a restrictive contract, you can't sell much into the sports broadcast. On the old 99.7 and 610, the A's didn't add much cume, although they did in the past on other stations.
