Latest PAX TV Follies - Worship TV Going Away?

I'm not a normal viewer, but this early overnight I stumbled upon the local PAX TV O&O, and noticed the folks who run "Worship TV" (overnight religious messages and music) believe they're about to be kicked off PAX TV.

They're encouraging folks to lobby local cable providers, via a website:

<a target="_blank" href=http://www.iwantmyworship.net>http://www.iwantmyworship.net</a>

The slickly designed site allows viewers to send E-Mail to cable companies serving their area, encouraging them to pick up the network.

I don't know why Worship TV is apparently going to lose the 1-6 AM ET slot it's had on PAX TV since 1998. I can only suspect that PAX is going to sell infomercials in those hours, given that it's moved to "maximize its income", and has even spooked out partner NBC by giving the impression that they were going to wipe out original entertainment programming.

I have no problem with the loss of Worship TV.
The fewer of Satan's Infomercials the better.

I don't feel one way or the other about the overnight religious programming... I just posted it here because many of us have been watching for signs of PAX's impending demise.

It seems likely to me that they will put (secular) infomercials into the overnight hours currently occupied by Worship TV. That is, as long as PAX lasts...

Although I admit Worship could use a bit more diversity in their group of hosts (most are white males), I still think it's a far better Christian television program than many televangelists provide. Worship primarily focuses on direct quotations from the Bible without a lot of interpretation or distortion. It still may not be to some people's liking, but I believe it is one of the more honest presentations of Christian beliefs on TV.
