The ratings for several iheart stations are pathetic. I know there is supposed to be value to "heritage" but music on WQMF is sooo boring. What will it take to completely scrap this station?
I thought there was a need for an Alternative Station in Louisville. I was wrong.WGHL .6???Wow! Is it because of the weak signal or the fact that Alternative music just isn't any good? 10-15 years ago Alternative Stations played the best of the Active Rock Chart and some fringe bands. Now it is just trash. Not a guitar to be found on the Alt chart.

Those numbers are from almost a month ago. Maybe alternative 105.1 will do better in the future. I personally really enjoy the station. Also wfpk did okay so there is a market for alternative music but maybe not 2 stations. We shall see. I think fpk and 105.1 compliment 1 another pretty well.

Those are the first CDM numbers for continuously measured diary markets that will receive a fully weighted book 12 times a year consisting of a rolling average of the prior 12 survey weeks. The next report, called "August" will be the average of June, July and August.
