how to make success.. basically take two of the highest rated talkers and put them on your station and you are bound to get loyal fans coming to you. But the expected downfall of WWL hasn't happened yet meaning looks like live and local even with the distaste shown on this forum for most of the talkers (However seeing dayparts would answer if WRNO is keeping the people are just during Hannity and Rush). Also would be to find out if people were marking WWL when listening to WRNO

Tix is still keeping the oldies fans even with the sat fed oldies on 106.1 ... 104.1 looks like it needs a playlist infusion as numbers showing it going down as people tire of the playlist... 92.3 is flat and needs to be promoted hard.. Citadel needs to bang out on TV and billbords it has Seacrest and see if that brings fans in to hear his "morning show in the afternoons"

Citadel has no money to spend and, if it did, it wouldn't spend it in New Orleans. 92.3 and 106.1 will always lag with no promotion, just like 106.7 did before the Urban switch (which swapped one decently rated station for 2 mediocre stations).

WWL destroys WRNO in AM and PM Drive, Nights and Weekends. Having the Saints will only make Weekends at WWL that much stronger.

RNO is picking up advertisers but still charging 1/10 of WWL's rates. Hard to understand how much longer WIST and WGSO can hang on with no ratings, no promotion and no money.

Given CCs clout, I'm sure they'll have someone going over every diary to ensure that no one is listening to Rush and writing down WWL.

104.1 is a dead signal. No promotion. No effort. When they came back on air after Gustav, for several days they ran the audio from WJBO.

Don't think people know 106.1 is even there. In the truck, it's a real weak signal on the westbank and is all but lost south of Hwy 90. Scan skips right over it. Too bad Chitadel won't spend a dime on it. Heard Mikie was down for the second straight trend...hmmmm. Could find anything to buy at Borders I guess? But did hear what I thought was a revenue spot for Treasure Chest Casino. After more thought...nah, nah, nah...he had to trade a place to set-up out there when he had that MONSTER CD release party for "Crap at the Beach".

WIST is owned by GHB Broadcasting who has holdings throughout the southeast and is apparently using the new french quarter address for a station license in North Carolina (WIST-FM)

WGSO however is a upstart by people who aren't radio people from what I've researched and what's keeping them afloat is these people's day jobs would be my guess
