Laufenberg leaves Cowboys' radio booth

I would

How so? If Babe had remained, the Cowboys would pay him for those services, not Channel 11.

Hansen! It's amazing how quiet a room can get everytime his name comes up at the Ranch. Too bad, that move alone could restore order in galaxy. Woody is already tied up doing some national TV things. Waters? We can all only hope not. Emmitt wants it, but probably a no-go there. Bates is an minor possibility. How does the name Chad Hennings strike ya? Or Dale Hellestrae?

The Cowboys didn't offer Babe what he wanted, and he turned them down. But, even at a lower salary, Babe would have been smart to take it. The job would have continued to boost his TV ratings. That's why I suggested it would be in Channel 11's interest to actually pay Babe to KEEP the gig!

Old rumors. Dale was floated and shot down almost immediately. But that was weeks ago. Woody is always a candidate for Cowboys programming. He's a smooth dude with a great voice. But his opinions and analysis are vanilla. And no sense of humor. That doesn't mean they won't go with him. But, if they do, I predict they'll drop him after one season.

Hansen is out to ESPN..... so let that rest.....

I would like to someone like Mike Rhyner do color for the Cowboys.
Local to the Dallas area for many years, and thankfully, somone who doesn't grate my nerves like Hansen.
Rhyner has credibility with me.

Hansen is just a world class blow hard, if you enjoy that kind of thing....<P ID="signature">______________

Hmmmm. I'm available!!! Think Jerry would hire a nobody who's claim to fame is being hated by a guy named "Chuck" that I've technically never met?

hahahahaha

I liked Charlie Waters as a player, but hearing him on the air gives me tired-head. I have no clue as to who would be a favorite for the post, unless they bring in someone from outside, like (dang, what was his name) Garrett, who subbed for Sham in the late 90's.
