KPIG is legendary as is KFAT. Condolences to friends and family of Laura who passed from lung cancer on Memorial Day. You can listen here http://www.kpig.com/
Extraordinary FM radio, they even played a scratchy record this morning.
 
Extremely sad news... That is a great station. My wife and I just went up to Cambria (We live in Orange County, CA) this past Memorial Day weekend. We go up to Cambria every few years .. We love that little hamlet. So I tuned in to 94.9 FM for the KPIG signal and my wife who had never heard the station really liked it. We had no idea about Laura's illness.

I remember when 94.9 was K-Otter years ago got a little tour of the station and in 2003 I recorded a two hour cassette of K-Otter before they went away a year later. K-PIG (KPYG) was a great replacement.

RIP Laura Ellen Hopper.
