Laura Ingraham to Jolt?

She's leaving 690, but for where? Not KNST or KCUB... figures the Jolt would demand one of TRN's decent shows after clearing the 3 dogs. Apparently they realized that just because Tammy Bruce cumed 25k a week on KNST doesn't mean she'll do it on their whale-shaped, half-a**ed night pattern with a half-share overall. Although I'm surprised they didn't go for Savage. Or just give up already and go progressive talk... you know Aldona isn't exactly a pin-up for the right wing.

The GNC stations might not be the most thrilling options for everyone, but the Martins are really nice folks... real class acts. Something local from KVOI? Doubt it, but it will be interested to see. Perhaps Bill Bennett delayed.

HELLO! Laura and O'Riely will be the anchors for FM HOT TALK replacing Mr Bob.

FM talk?... haven't heard that one before. And I wouldn't exactly say O'Reilly is cleaning up in Tucson, let alone nationally. Yawwwn.

Just what Tucson needs - MORE talk. If that's the case, though, it's time for KJLL to fold it's tent and move on. Their billing is minimal, ratings are low (and a fraction of what they once were when savvier folks ran the station), and they're at the bottom of an increasingly crowded totem pole. Who's left for them? Maybe AIM or the Slone folks will buy them out if anyone can get through to the owner.

Dennis Miller takes over at KVOI... except, when DST ends (begins?, I never know) his show won't start until 8am. Now, the 6am hour is 23 hours old, and three days old on Mondays (what did they do today?). While Ingraham exited a week before TRN was slated to pull her, no word on where she's headed? The Joke continues to pile on the libtalk (probably the only smart thing to do, although they should flip completely), so it's not them, despite being TRN's local water carrier for Doyle and Bruce.

Well, it's a bit clearer now. Laura, Bill O' , and Doyle ended up on 104.1, along with Boortz, Gallagher etc.
The Jolt has picked up after the Imus firing to Move Stephanie Miller up to 6A-9A, live for the full three hours, followed by Ed Schulz live from 9 til noon. Alan Colmes has been move from the 1A-3A timeslot, up to 9P-11P. I think these will prove to be good moves by The Jolt. :)
