Laurin Gaudin Moving to WIST

Continuing a direction to feature New Orleans personalities in its programming schedule, AM 690 WIST announced today that Lorin Gaudin, host of All Over Food, is joining the AM 690 WIST radio lineup, starting Saturday, July 5th at 9am.

“Lorin is very well known in the New Orleans area and AM 690 WIST is excited to add her fantastic radio show to our growing locally focused Saturday line-up. When you add Lorin to the most entertaining sports show in New Orleans, America’s first and only cocktail focused show and the great response that the Queen of Positive- Greta Perry has brought to Saturdays, All Over Food will reinforce to all the citizens of the New Orleans Metro Area that AM 690 WIST is where the locals come to talk. What we eat and where we eat it is very important to citizens of this city. It is part of who we are and Lorin Gaudin is quickly becoming the person people look to when it comes to food.” Said station General Manager Dan Frazier in making the announcement. “I don’t need to reinforce her stature, Lorin writes for numerous blogs and is in reality, all over food in New Orleans.”

I like Lorin's style. She tells it like it is. I've tried many places she has reviewed and she's been right on. I loved her review of the Drunken Taco. Talk about honesty!
 
Ms Gaudin does a really good show IMHO, I'll be listening but it looks like we get less Handel now :mad:

Lorin Gaudin is good. Really good. But, no one local the rest of the day would be able to get a job in this city unless they begged (or paid their way on) WGSO.
 
I'm glad Lorin is going to WIST. When I got the memo the other day about her not being with CC anymore I was saddened. She's a really nice person who I wish I could have gotten to know better. She got me an autographed copy of Alton Brown's latest book.
