LAWSUIT OVER THE STEVE AND VICKI COMMERCIALS

I don't know where you're getting your information, but Cindy and Ray were NOT offered the morning slot. And though there was communication between Bert and Star, he was never officially offered a position there. Mark Kanov remarked that, "There is no place for Bert at Star 94." Of course, that was back when Q was only 12,000 watts and before he hired the aptly-named Morning Mess. So who knows what he's thinking now...

Now that's funny.....of course you probably still believe Vicki was sick ::)

And why did they hire "the morning mess"? Well, if they were paying the figure they offered Bert, it might have been the best they could find. ;)

I'm finally seeing the ad (as I watch MSNBC) .... this may have been noted in a previous post (but I don't feel like reading through five pages of this thread) .... I notice in the S&V ad all the songs featured all cross over on Star 94 .... John Mayer "Waiting For The World To Change", Fergie "Big Girls Don't Cry", Daughtry "I'm Going Home", and Natasha Bedingfield "Unwritten".

No, Vikki wasn't sick. Kanov put her up to that. Couldn't you tell from the phony "last day" of Steve and Vikki? And you're high as a kite if you think Cindy and (especially) Ray would turn down a morning show slot :)

B98.5 has always showcased their "currents" in their commercials, which is odd for a station that has to put new songs through a litmus test before they make it on the air.

There are only 9 "currents" on the playlist, and a "current" is on that spot for 3 years before it is retired to "recurrent" position. The bulk of the playlist is 1970-2002, yet those never make it to commercials.

B98.5 and Star 94 are two peas in a pod. Neither one sticks to the prescribed format (B98.5 plays dance music, and until recently Star 94 avoids rap).
