I have heard this rumor too....
All the afternoon drive jocks = GONE.
Awful indeed, and it'll likely be premium choice as replacements. Ratings or not, they can no longer justify spending money on people that don't bring in a substantial amount of revenue that surpasses the salary they are making. I don't see how it's possible to do that anymore in this area with the exception of morning drive. It doesn't matter what you do for the station anymore. The mission is to terminate you and pick the pieces up later. They'll worry about who loads in the weekend countdown show or who voices what spots later.

Unfortunately...In some cases...Premium Choice does sound better...
Seems to be a lot of pre-game speculation here. If the prediction becomes reality, it won't be pretty. But it could very well be that CC Albany has already cut to the bone.

My source tells me by the end of June and he gave me a number of how many. I don't want to give the exact number he told me, but its between 3-10.

That's what I heard too....
I am to understand no one is safe. Morning shows, PD's...etc. Best of luck to those who are potential candidates.
