Lean on BEN-FM

I just perused yes.com and looked at some local station's top 100's. BEN-FM has a lot of songs that weren't even in their Top 100 last week. Are they always taking songs in and out that much? Or did they just do a wholesale playlist revamp recently?

I noticed that their 66th- and 67th-most-played are the same song...performed by different artists. I just thought that was strangely interesting.

66 Bill Withers Lean On Me
67 Club Nouveau Lean On Me

They did something this weekend (maybe all week?)where they played cover songs and originals back to back at times. I heard the newer dance version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" followed immediately by the Bonnie Tyler original.

Neat. There's nothing better than when a fad format starts having novelty theme weekends! Was that a flush I just heard? ;-)
