Since it was on channel 2 and the video was not good, it sounds like F2 skip.

'Twas TEP per a club member, who saw reports on Sherlock/VHFDX.

Solar flux, according to him, was not high enough to be F2.

I *could* make video, but I am not liable for any change or start of an eyeglass prescription.

Awesome Chris! Never have received TEP here, but have gotten lots of F2 (LUs, PY2s, etc. on 10m) and SS CBers on 11m.

I am not a ham....can you give me some frequencies to check out? I have a Realistic scanner. Been trying (not super hard, though) for Chile on 47.9 again. I stored 48.3 & 48.7 as well FWIW.

I built a 48 MHz antenna a few months ago, but did not "fold it up"...threw it under the house, where it promptly rusted. I think it's still useful, though. My catches werewith the Channel master CM3020 + CM7777 amp, beamed 180 degrees (actually I was thinking about E-skip---certainly not this!)

If I ever hear F2 it's only on 10 or 11 meters. Try 27.555 LSB, and around 27.685, in LSB, for SS CBers.
