LEAVING THE BUILDING....

A few years back, a radio station GM who was fired by his group, might have been Bob Woody, did not leave his building, place of employment. Was he arrested? What was the penalty for being fired and not leaving the building? Would there be charges? Just wondering.

Woody was WILK program director, and I believe the police were called to "encourage" him to leave the building. He did. No charges.

As I recall, Bob Woody went into Roy Morgan's office, and sat at Roy's desk and refused to vacate. Wilkes-Barre police arrived at the facility, and escorted Bob from the building without incident.

WILK wasn't the only place Bob Woody was asked to leave. Everyplace he worked ended up the same way in one form or another sush as WARM, WICK, WILK, WBAX and WSCR aka WBQW ). Nothing like burning all of your bridges in one town.

Thanks. Just wondering.
But jeez, what a way to leave especially if you felt wronged. I like it.
